My wife recently told me how horrible it is to drive to work with the AC not working. I didn't know it didn't work. That morning, brought the vehicle in for service. Turns out it was a little more than just a recharge. But the MCA mechanics got it done. They were able to give me an accurate and confident cost and completion time. Even got the inspection done. As a woman, I have often found mechanics to be intimidating and sometimes just plain sketchy! Well, Middle Country Automotive has earned my trust and loyalty. I have referred several people to this shop and They have always gone above and beyond to help. It's not often you can say that about auto shops! I will never ever take my vehicle anywhere else.

I visited the Centereach location for the first time today. I got a same day oil change and inspection without an appointment, and no notice. These guys did a great job and got me to work on time! Quick and friendly service. I will definitely recommend Centereach automotive to my friends and family.

We've been going to them for two generations. They keep track of all the maintenance on our cars and send reminders. They offer email receipts. Their most redeeming quality is that they are looking for long term customers and demonstrate that through their customer service. When a repair is "needed" (exhaust, brakes, etc) they will give you an honest appraisal about how urgently it needs to be done. They also have offered advice on potential car purchases which served us well.

I went here to get an inspection done. I ended up getting a few more things done, as well. The things I needed done were all necessary. I didn't get a laundry list full of repairs I "needed" like I more than often get when I go to a random mechanic. Everything was done well. I have no complaints. The prices were also better than competitors in the area --I called a few places afterward out of curiosity. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a solid and trustworthy mechanic. UPDATE 6/30/15: After I got out of work yesterday, I checked my voicemail. To me complete and utter surprise, I had a message from the office and Middle Country Automotive II. It was a courtesy call. They were calling to make sure everything was going well with my car. They invited me to call back with any "question, comments, or concerns." I don't know about you, but out of the scores of times I've gone to a mechanic, I've never had a follow-up call to make sure I was satisfied with the service. So, needless to say, I now have a new go-to mechanic.
