Selden and Centereach Auto Repair

Been living in Centereach for 25 years and have found this gem of an auto shop. It’s very rare to find honest and true to their word folks. MCA just got a new customer!

Courteous, explains the situation and they always quote the cost and time the work should be completed. I have never had a problem.

I love this place. Every time I have been in, the whole staff is friendly, kind, and knowledgeable. I usually take my car and wait and I have always had a pleasant experience here. I have two cars that are on the older side, and I have taken them to other places on the island where I was told I would need costly repairs even to pass a state inspection. At MCA, they did not force us into costly repairs. They made the typical suggestions for maintenance but did not scare us into anything unnecessary.

First time here thanks to the other google reviews, and it won’t be my last! They got me in to get my car inspected at the last minute and I was out within an hour, with a full Printout of the various things that they checked throughout the vehicle. No pressure to fix the minor areas of concern that day, but knowing about them means I can address them when I’m ready, before it’s too late (I.e. weak battery that would have died this winter if they didn’t tell me about it, and rear brakes at 30%). Troy was knowledgeable, thorough and friendly, the mechanic was the same. They even took extra time with me at the end to check an issue of concern that I had with my vehicle. I will definitely keep them in mind for any future vehicle needs. Thanks!!

I recently moved into the area and Troy from Middle Country Automotive was referred to me. I brought my car to Middle Country Automotive for a tire sensor problem and from the first phone call when I spoke with Rick to meeting Troy the day I dropped my car off for service, I can say I was impressed by their courtesy, professionalism and overall great job they did on my car as well as the very reasonable price I paid for the work that had been done. Troy was very personable and took the time to explain things to me and you can tell he truly loves his job. I highly recommend Middle Country Automotive to anyone looking for a reliable and honest mechanic. I will certainly be bringing all my cars to him for future service. Thanks Troy!
